Christina Strand (MDD) og Niels Hvass (MAA) are part of the new generation of Scandinavian designers and the creative heads of STRAND+HVASS. Their concept of furniture design is to set the human individual in the center and they strive to combine the expression, the form and the material used to make their design comfortable, functional and unique.
For the 2009 collection Strand+Hvass have designed a modern and elegant lounge group and a dining chair – Breeze. The Breeze range contains: A dining chair, a lounge chair, a lounge table and a side table. Their main focus was to create a comfortable chair, the piece of furniture closest to the human body – and how successful they were!
